US Patent Issued to ESTETRA on Sept. 30 for "Orodispersible dosage unit containing an estetrol component" (Dutch, Belgian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,427,114, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to ESTETRA SRL (Liege, Belgium).

"Orodispersible dosage unit containing an estetrol component" was invented by Severine Francine Isabelle Jaspart (Bois-et-Borsu, Belgium), Johannes Jan Platteeuw (Boxtel, Netherlands) and Denny Johan Marijn Van Den Heuvel (Beuningen, Netherlands).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention provides an orodispersible solid pharmaceutical dosage unit having a weight between 30 and 1,000 mg, said dosage unit consisting of: 0.1-25 wt. % of estetrol particles containing at least 80 wt. % of an estetrol component selected from estetrol, estetrol esters and combinations...
