ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,282,138, issued on April 22, was assigned to Essilor International (Charenton-le-pont, France).
"Ophthalmic lens comprising an oxazolone" was invented by Supitchaya Iamsaard (Bangkok) and Pierre Fromentin (Bangkok).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to ophthalmic lenses comprising an oxazolone, a preparation method thereof and the use of an oxazolone in an ophthalmic lens to absorb blue light."
The patent was filed on Dec. 11, 2019, under Application No. 17/312,469.
