ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,326,396, issued on June 10, was assigned to Essenlix Corp. (Monmouth Junction, N.J.).
"Optical transmission sample holder and analysis, particularly for hemoglobin" was invented by Stephen Y. Chou (Princeton, N.J.), Wei Ding (East Windsor, N.J.), Ji Qi (Skillman, N.J.), Jun Tian (Belle Mead, N.J.) and Wu Chou (Basking Ridge, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Among other things, the present invention is related to devices and methods for improving optical analysis of a thin layer of a sample sandwiched between two plates."
The patent was filed on Nov. 9, 2023, under Application No. 18/505,118.
