ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,270,810, issued on April 8, was assigned to Essenlix Corp. (Monmouth Junction, N.J.).

"QMAX assay and applications (II)" was invented by Stephen Y. Chou (Princeton, N.J.), Wei Ding (East Windsor, N.J.), Yufan Zhang (Monmouth Junction, N.J.) and Ji Qi (Hillsborough, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides QMAX based devices, kits, and methods for rapid, easy to use, and/or inexpensive detection of assaying."

The patent was filed on Feb. 9, 2018, under Application No. 16/484,035.
