ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,546,129, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to ERICO International Corp. (Solon, Ohio).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A column shoe assembly can include a shoe body that defines an internal cavity with a rear wall. A lower rod opening can open into the internal cavity and defines a connection axis. An access opening can open into the internal cavity on an opposite side of the connection axis from the rear wall. A thickened rim can extend along a perimeter of the access opening."
