ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,291,726, issued on May 6, was assigned to EPICENTRX INC. (La Jolla, Calif.).
"A549 host cells comprising a recombinant oncolytic adenovirus with modified E1A cancer-specific promoter" was invented by Tony R. Reid (San Diego), Bryan T. Oronsky (Los Altos Hills, Calif.) and Christopher Larson (San Diego).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to compositions and methods for producing a recombinant virus, e.g., a recombinant oncolytic adenovirus, using an A549 host cell."
