ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,539,494, issued on Feb. 3, was assigned to ENI S.P.A. (Rome).

"Process for the concentration of amine water" was invented by Marco Tagliabue (San Donato Milanese, Italy), Claudia Cattaneo (Recco, Italy) and Antonio Comite (Genoa, Italy).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A process for concentrating amine water is achieved by dehydrating the amine water by membrane distillation at a temperature ranging from 30deg C. to 95deg C. and at a pressure ranging from 1.0 bar to 1.5 absolute bar."

The patent was filed on June 17, 2020, under Application No. 17/617,395.
