US Patent Issued to ENEOS on May 13 for "Base oil for refrigerator oil, refrigerator oil, and working fluid composition for refrigerator" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,297,402, issued on May 13, was assigned to ENEOS Corp. (Tokyo).

"Base oil for refrigerator oil, refrigerator oil, and working fluid composition for refrigerator" was invented by Fumiyuki Nara (Tokyo), Tomohiro Takaki (Tokyo), Yuya Mizutani (Tokyo), Makoto Ando (Tokyo) and Hidetoshi Ogata (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A base oil for a refrigerating machine oil, having cyclic saturates of 40% by mass or less and non-cyclic saturates of 60% by mass or more in saturates, a density at 15deg C. of 0.805 g/cm3 or lower, and a normal paraffin content of 50% by mass or less."
