ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,258,531, issued on March 25, was assigned to ENEOS Corp. (Tokyo).
"Refrigerator oil, and working fluid composition for refrigerator" was invented by Tatsuki Nakajima (Tokyo), Shogo Hashimoto (Tokyo), Hidetoshi Ogata (Tokyo) and Yuma Seki (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "One aspect of the present invention is a refrigerating machine oil containing: a base oil; and a partial ester of a carboxylic acid and a polyhydric alcohol, wherein the carboxylic acid contains an unsaturated carboxylic acid."
The patent was filed on July 7, 2021, under Application No. 18/013,418.
