ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,240,771, issued on March 4, was assigned to Emerging Compounds Treatment Technologies Inc. (Irvine, Calif.).
"System and method for separating competing anions from per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in a flow of water" was invented by Steven E. Woodard (Cumberland, Maine), Michael G. Nickelsen (Fuquay-Varina, N.C.) and John C. Berry (Mooresville, N.C.).
