ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,370,245, issued on July 29, was assigned to Elicio Therapeutics Inc. (Boston).

"ALK polypeptides and methods of use thereof" was invented by Adrienne Li (Cambridge, Mass.), Jackson Eby (Arlington, Mass.) and Peter C. Demuth (Medford, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention features immunogenic compositions containing anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) polypeptides and methods of use thereof. The immunogenic compositions and methods of the invention may be used to treat a disease associated with ALK in a subject, such as cancer (e.g., a solid tumor cancer or an ALK+ cancer)."
