ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,304,938, issued on May 20, was assigned to Eli Lilly and Co. (Indianapolis).

"Processes and intermediates for preparing tirzepatide" was invented by Michael Eugene Kopach (Greenwood, Ind.), Rachel Nicole Richey (Indianapolis), Mark Richard Berglund (Zionsville, Ind.), Kevin Dale Seibert (Carmel, Ind.) and Emily Suzanne Murzinski (Zionsville, Ind.).
