ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,508,494, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to Elevation Lab Inc. (Portland, Ore.).
"Mounts for tracking devices" was invented by Casey Hopkins (Portland, Ore.) and Jacob Hull (Portland, Ore.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Mounts (10) for securing a device (12) to an article (14) comprise a housing (16) having an internal volume (18) configured to selectively receive and retain the device (12) in the housing (16); and a coupler (20) attached to the housing (16) and configured to be operatively attached to the article (14)."
The patent was filed on Feb. 16, 2024, under Application No. 18/443,763.
