US Patent Issued to ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS RESEARCH INSTITUTE on April 22 for "Micro focus X-ray tube using nano electric field emitter" (South Korean Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,283,448, issued on April 22, was assigned to ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS RESEARCH INSTITUTE (Daejeon, South Korea).

"Micro focus X-ray tube using nano electric field emitter" was invented by Jin-Woo Jeong (Daejeon, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A micro focus X-ray tube is provided. The micro focus X-ray tube has a bonding structure in which a ceramic and a metal without an exhaust pipe are stacked by using a nano electric field emitter of an excellent feature."
