ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,448,438, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Elanco US Inc. (Greenfield, Ind.).
"Anti-IL31 antibodies for veterinary use" was invented by Shyr Jiann Li (Burlingame, Calif.), Lam Nguyen (Burlingame, Calif.) and Hangjun Zhan (Burlingame, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided are various embodiments relating to anti-IL31 antibodies binding to canine IL31. Such antibodies can be used in methods to treat IL31-induced conditions in companion animals, such as canines, felines, and equines."
The patent was filed on May 3, 2023, under Application No. 18/311,777.
