ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,253,526, issued on March 18, was assigned to Eisai R&D Management Co. Ltd. (Tokyo) and SYSMEX Corp. (Kobe, Japan).

"Fluorescent dye and use thereof" was invented by Daiki Hara (Kobe, Japan), Takafumi Motoki (Tsukuba, Japan), Yuji Kazuta (Tsukuba, Japan), Yoshihiko Norimine (Tsukuba, Japan), Hiroyuki Amino (Tsukuba, Japan), Masatoshi Suganuma (Kobe, Japan), Shingo Fujiyama (Kobe, Japan), Kazuto Yamashita (Kobe, Japan), Masaya Okada (Kobe, Japan), Yoichi Nishikawa (Kobe, Japan) and Shigeki Iwanaga (Kobe, Japan).
