ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,245,756, issued on March 11, was assigned to EDWARDS LIFESCIENCES Corp. (Irvine, Calif.).

"Unidirectional valvular implant" was invented by Boaz Manash (Givat Ada, Israel), Eitan Atias (Tel Aviv, Israel), Liron Tayeb (Peduel, Israel), Amir Blumenfeld (Tel Aviv, Israel), David Maimon (Atlit, Israel) and Eyal Leiba (N. Misgav, Israel).
