ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,545,408, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to EDGE LOGISTICS INC. (Southlake, Texas).
"Aircraft tow system" was invented by Doron Appelboim (Snoqualmie, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed is an unmanned, autonomous, cargo transport system comprising at least one towed aircraft coupled to a tractor aircraft for inflight towing."
