ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,408,650, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to ECOLAB USA INC. (St. Paul, Minn.).
"Heat system for killing pests" was invented by William J. Pattison (Greensboro, N.C.), S. John Barcay (Burnsville, Minn.), Jason G. Lang (Bloomington, Minn.), Christopher C. Wagner (St. Paul, Minn.), Christopher D. Diller (Bloomington, Minn.) and Joelle F. Olson (Hanover, Minn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure generally relates to the field of pest elimination including all life stages of bed bugs. The present disclosure includes articles, systems, and methods of heat treatment to target and kill pests."
