ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,448,589, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to ECOLAB USA INC. (Saint Paul, Minn.).
"Non-corrosive oven degreaser concentrate" was invented by Nathan D. Peitersen (Saint Paul, Minn.) and Gregory G. Griese (Saint Paul, Minn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention relates to a non-corrosive degreasing concentrate and ready to use formulation. In particular, non-corrosive compositions capable of removing polymerized grease as effectively as some alkali metal hydroxide (i.e. caustic) based degreasers without requiring the use of personal protective equipment are disclosed."
