ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,522,349, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to Eaton Intelligent Power Ltd. (Dublin).

A ratio between the output power of the actuator system and the input power of the actuator system is monitored over time.
