ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,288,655, issued on April 29, was assigned to EATON INTELLIGENT POWER Ltd. (Dublin).

"Arc chute energy bypass in circuit breakers" was invented by James G. Maloney (Industry, Pa.), Rachel A. Dunn (Canonsburg, Pa.) and Mike Cantor (Cambridge, Great Britain).
