ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,253,782, issued on March 18, was assigned to e-Vision Smart Optics Inc. (Sarasota, Fla.).

"Augmented reality device with adjustable electroactive beam splitter" was invented by Anthony Van Heugten (Sarasota, Fla.), Anita Trajkovska-Broach (Christiansburg, Va.) and Harry Milton (Sarasota, Fla.).
