ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,253,784, issued on March 18, was assigned to E Ink Corp. (Billerica, Mass.).
"Electro-optic displays and driving methods" was invented by Craig Lin (Fremont, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A driving method for driving a display comprising an electrophoretic material having at least one type of colored pigment particle, the method includes applying at least one pulse pair to reset the at least one type of colored pigment particle, applying a separation pulse, and applying a second pulse pair to reset the at least one type of colored pigment particle."
