ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,449,372, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Durr Systems AG (Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany).
"Luminaire element for an inspection tunnel, luminaire strip, and inspection tunnel" was invented by Dietmar Wieland (Waiblingen, Germany), Wolfgang Tobisch (Stuttgart, Germany), Andreas Danler (Vols, Austria), Daniel Foger (Silz, Austria) and Manfred Gstrein (Absam, Austria).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention relates to a luminaire element (10, 11) for an inspection tunnel (100), in particular for checking shiny surfaces, in particular painted surfaces, comprising at least two, preferably strip-like, arrangements (12) of light sources (...
