US Patent Issued to DUPONT ELECTRONICS on April 29 for "Inkjet ink and primer fluid set" (Delaware, Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,286,547, issued on April 29, was assigned to DUPONT ELECTRONICS INC. (Wilmington, Del.).

"Inkjet ink and primer fluid set" was invented by Xiaoqing Li (Newark, Del.), Ji Yeon Huh (Newark, Del.) and Cullen Kirkpatrick (Phoenixville, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides an inkjet ink and primer fluid set containing an aqueous primer composition and aqueous inkjet inks. The aqueous primer composition forms a coating on a print substrate. The inkjet inks contain a polymeric binder that interacts with the primer composition. This fluid set is particularly suitable for printing on non-porous plastic substrate."
