ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. PP36,685, issued on May 13, was assigned to Dummen Group B.V. (De Lier, Netherlands).
"Calla lily plant named 'Dozanwhamb'" was invented by Cecilius Jan-Jochem Randag (Koedijk, Netherlands).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "'Dozanwhamb' is a new variety of calla lily plant having white spathes without a throat spot that produces approximately 11 inflorescences per 20-22 cm diameter tuber."
The patent was filed on Aug. 27, 2024, under Application No. 18/815,996.
