ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,410,117, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to DSM IP ASSETS B.V. (Heerlen, Netherlands).
"Process for production of vitamin A" was invented by Werner Bonrath (Kaiseraugst, Switzerland), Marc-Andre Mueller (Kaiseraugst, Switzerland), Bettina Wuestenberg (Kaiseraugst, Switzerland) and Viktor Zimmermann (Kaiseraugst, Switzerland).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a new process for the production of vitamin A and/or its derivatives."
The patent was filed on March 22, 2021, under Application No. 17/915,453.
