ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,275,755, issued on April 15, was assigned to DSM IP ASSETS B.V. (Heerlen, Netherlands).
"All-trans polyene amphoteric macrolide" was invented by Alexander Lucia Leonardus Duchateau (Echt, Netherlands), Peter Philip Lankhorst (Echt, Netherlands) and Willebrordus Bernardus Van Scheppingen (Echt, Netherlands).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention is directed to a process for purifying natamycin, to an all-trans polyene amphoteric macrolide, to a composition comprising said polyene amphoteric macrolide and to a process for preparing said polyene amphoteric macrolide."
