ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. PP36,665, issued on May 13, was assigned to Driscoll's Inc. (Watsonville, Calif.).

"Strawberry plant named 'DrisStrawOneHundredEight'" was invented by Maria Cruz Ayuso Hernandez (Valencia, Spain), Alberto Algarra (Murcia, Spain), Abdelali El Tahiri (Tangier, Morocco), Phuong Nguyen (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) and Philip J. Stewart (Royal Oaks, Calif.).
