US Patent Issued to Drexel University on March 25 for "Antennas comprising MX-ENE films and composites" (Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,261,355, issued on March 25, was assigned to Drexel University (Philadelphia).

"Antennas comprising MX-ENE films and composites" was invented by Yury Gogotsi (Warminster, Pa.) and Babak Anasori (Norristown, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure is directed to antennas for transmitting and/or receiving electrical signals comprising a MXene composition, devices comprising these antennas, and methods of transmitting and receiving signals using these antennas."

The patent was filed on Nov. 9, 2023, under Application No. 18/505,203.
