According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for treating a wart on skin of a patient includes guiding non-thermal, atmospheric pressure plasma over areas of the tissue having the wart for a length of time effective to give rise to an at least partial amelioration of the wart."
