ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,300,990, issued on May 13, was assigned to Drexel University (Philadelphia) and Lehigh University (Bethlehem, Pa.).

"Active snubbers for solid state circuit breakers to improve switch voltage utilization rate" was invented by Fei Lu (Wynnewood, Pa.), Hua Zhang (Philadelphia) and Reza Kheirollahi (Philadelphia).
