ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,378,362, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to DOW SILICONES Corp. (Midland, Mich.).

"Polydiorganosiloxane preparation" was invented by Xiuyan Wang (Shanghai), Yi Guo (Shanghai), Jiang Peng (Shanghai), Zhiping Zeng (Shanghai) and Qiang Hu (Shanghai).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A process for end capping and chain extending silanol terminated polydiorganosiloxanes with a mixture of one or more alkylacetoxydialkoxysilanes and one or more alkyldiacetoxyalkoxysilanes.
