US Patent Issued to Dow Global Technologies on Sept. 9 for "Water based semi-synthetic metal working fluid composition containing an alkyl alcohol amine" (American, Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,410,376, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to Dow Global Technologies LLC (Midland, Mich.).

"Water based semi-synthetic metal working fluid composition containing an alkyl alcohol amine" was invented by Matthew E. Belowich (Phoenixville, Pa.), Qi Jiang (Shanghai), Chao Zhao (Shanghai), Xue Chen (Manvel, Texas) and Yong Zhao (Shanghai).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The current invention relates to a novel class of alkyl alcohol amines where the amine is a primary amine.
