ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,415,147, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Dow Global Technologies LLC (Midland, Mich.).
"Foam control agent" was invented by Rafael F. De Santi Ungarato (Jundiai, Brazil), Xue Chen (Manvel, Texas) and Ellen D. Costa (Jundiai, Brazil).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A foam control agent and method of controlling foam for bioethanol processing by use of a foam control agent, wherein the agent comprises at least a (poly)glycerol ether."
The patent was filed on April 13, 2021, under Application No. 17/995,460.
