ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,338,301, issued on June 24, was assigned to Dow Global Technologies LLC (Midland, Mich.).
"Bimodal catalyst systems" was invented by Andrew J. Young (Houston), Roger L. Kuhlman (Lake Jackson, Texas), Angela I. Padilla-Acevedo (Lake Jackson, Texas) and John F. Szul (Hurricane, W.va.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Embodiments provide bimodal polymerization catalyst systems comprising metallocene olefin polymerization catalysts and biphenylphenol polymerization catalysts made from biphenylphenol polymerization precatalysts of Formula I."
The patent was filed on Nov. 4, 2020, under Application No. 17/771,835.
