ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,460,052, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Dow Global Technologies LLC (Midland, Mich.) and Dow Silicones Corp. (Midland, Mich.).

"Poly(diorgano/organohydrogen)siloxane copolymers" was invented by Michael Depierro (Midland, Mich.), Xiaoyun Chen (Midland, Mich.) and Michael Hausinger (Midland, Mich.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for preparing a poly(diorgano/organohydrogen)siloxane copolymer is provided. The method includes use of a vibrational spectroscopy technique."

The patent was filed on Dec. 2, 2021, under Application No. 18/042,628.
