US Patent Issued to Donaldson on Oct. 7 for "Nonwoven filtration media including microfibrillated cellulose fibers" (Minnesota Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,434,180, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to Donaldson Co. Inc. (Bloomington, Minn.).

"Nonwoven filtration media including microfibrillated cellulose fibers" was invented by Janelle M. Hampton (Burnsville, Minn.), Derek Owen Jones (Andover, Minn.) and Suresh Laxman Shenoy (Bloomington, Minn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A nonwoven filtration medium that includes a fibrous base media including synthetic and/or natural fibers and microfibrillated cellulose fibers."

The patent was filed on Oct. 12, 2023, under Application No. 18/379,478.
