US Patent Issued to Donaldson on Jan. 20 for "Filter media and elements" (Minnesota Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,528,038, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to Donaldson Co. Inc. (Bloomington, Minn.).

"Filter media and elements" was invented by Qiong Gao (Minneapolis), Gregory S. Tronnes (Richfield, Minn.), Rakesh Kumar Yadav (Lakeville, Minn.) and Michael A Madden (Woodbury, Minn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Fibrous filter medium that includes a melt-blown filter layer comprising melt-blown fibers and a high-efficiency glass-containing filter layer comprising glass fibers."

The patent was filed on May 20, 2024, under Application No. 18/669,516.
