US Patent Issued to DISH Wireless on June 3 for "Robust grant-free transmissions" (Virginia Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,323,951, issued on June 3, was assigned to DISH Wireless LLC (Littleton, Colo.).

"Robust grant-free transmissions" was invented by Mehdi Alasti (Arlington, Va.), Siddhartha Chenumolu (Ashburn, Va.) and Mariam Sorond (Reston, Va.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Various arrangements for performing grant-free uplink transmissions are presented herein. A user equipment (UE) can determine data that is to be transmitted using a grant-free uplink transmission to a base station of a cellular network.
