ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,421,889, issued on Sept. 23, was assigned to Discovery Energy LLC (Kohler, Wis.).
"Passive air cooling" was invented by Chad Stenson (Howards Grove, Wis.), William Gysi (Sheboygan, Wis.) and Adam Clouse (Howards Grove, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A passive cooling system includes a fan configured to generate an air flow path for a radiator, the air flow path extending from the fan to the radiator and a cooling pipe extended between a turbocharger and an intake manifold, the cooling path positioned in the air flow path between the fan and the radiator."
The patent was filed on Jan. 16, 2024, under Application No. 18/413,781.
