ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,405,507, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to DigiLens Inc. (Sunnyvale, Calif.) and Rockwell Collins Inc. (Cedar Rapids, Iowa).

"Transparent waveguide display with grating lamina that both couple and extract modulated light" was invented by Robert D. Brown (Lake Oswego, Ore.), Alastair John Grant (San Jose, Calif.), Wyatt L.
