ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,451,615, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Dielectric LLC (Raymond, Maine).
"Broadband high-power pylon antenna" was invented by Keith Pelletier (Raymond, Maine), Nicole Starrett (Raymond, Maine), Craig Beaucage (Raymond, Maine) and James Butts (Raymond, Maine).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A high power top mounted slotted coaxial broadcast antenna for broadband multi-channel applications is achieved via applying phase cancelation through multiple feeds. The effect that external transmission line feeds have on the circularity of the azimuth pattern is reduced using parasitic tubes near the surface of the slot apertures."
