ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,431,313, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to DEXERIALS Corp. (Tochigi, Japan).
"Protection element" was invented by Yoshihiro Yoneda (Shimotsuke, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This protection element (100) has a fuse element (3), an insulating inorganic fibrous material (4) that is disposed in contact with or close to at least a part of the fuse element (3), and a case member (5) configured to enclose a part of the fuse element (3) and the insulating inorganic fibrous material (4)."
