ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,245,773, issued on March 11, was assigned to DePuy Synthes Products Inc. (Raynham, Mass.).

"Orthopedic impacting device having a launched mass delivering a controlled, repeatable and reversible impacting force" was invented by Christopher Pedicini (Franklin, Tenn.).
