ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,303,574, issued on May 20, was assigned to Dentslpy Sirona Inc. (York, Pa.).
"Dental composition" was invented by Joachim E. Klee (Radolfzell, Germany), Florian Szillat (Neukirchen-Vlyun, Germany), Julie Kirschner (Dambach-la-Ville, France) and Jacques Lalevee (Mulhouse, France).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention is related to a dental composition comprising at least one polymerizable monomer having at least one ethylenically unsaturated group; and a radical initiator system comprising a photosensitizer having an absorption maximum ranging from 400 nm to 800 nm; and at least one CH-acidic compound as coinitiator."
