ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,323,797, issued on June 3, was assigned to DENSO International America Inc. (Southfield, Mich.) and DENSO Corp. (Kariya, Japan).

"System and method of distributed communications" was invented by Eric J. Smith (Holland, Mich.) and Kyle Cooper (Plainwell, Mich.).
