ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,351,661, issued on July 8, was assigned to Denka Co. Ltd. (Tokyo).
"Maleimide-based copolymer and resin composition" was invented by Masanori Matsumoto (Tokyo) and Kohei Nishino (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A maleimide-based copolymer containing: 40% to 65% by mass of an aromatic vinyl-based monomer unit; and 35% to 60% by mass of a maleimide-based monomer unit, in which a residual amount of an aromatic vinyl-based monomer is 200 to 2000 ppm by mass, and a residual amount of a maleimide-based monomer is 30 to 400 ppm by mass."
