ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. PP37,264, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to DeltaCactus S.L. (Spain).

"Haworthia plant named 'LIZARD KING'" was invented by Christian Jachertz (Amposta, Spain).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Haworthia plant named 'Lizard King' is disclosed, characterized by rosettes of narrow, slightly elongated foliage. Leaves are densely tuberculate. Tubercles are uniquely off-white in color. The new variety is a Haworthia, typically produced as a garden or container plant."

The patent was filed on April 30, 2025, under Application No. 19/194,392.
